The PHENIX experiment measured Bose-Einstein quantum-statistical correlationsof charged kaons in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\text{NN}}}$ = 200 GeV. Thecorrelation functions are parametrized assuming that the source emitting theparticles has a L\'evy shape, characterized by the L\'evy exponent $\alpha$ andthe L\'evy scale $R$. By introducing the intercept parameter $\lambda$, weaccount for the core-halo fraction. The parameters are investigated as afunction of transverse mass. The comparison of the parameters measured forkaon-kaon with those measured from pion-pion correlation may clarify theconnection of L\'evy parameters to physical processes.
