La agilidad es la capacidad de cambiar de un movimiento a otro en el menor tiempo posible generando asi gran cantidad de energia utilizada permitir la respuesta a un estimulo controlad, bien sea motriz y/o corporal. Por consiguiente, la universidad Santo Tomas evalua las capacidades fisicas de los aspirantes al programa de cultura fisica, deporte y recreacion en los componentes motor, corporal y fisico para identificar y analizar el perfil de cada uno de los sujetos. Las cuales tuvieron un seguimiento prospectico desde el inicio de su periodo academico y al finalizar su periodo academico para ser analizados y evidenciar los cambios existentes de las capacidades fisicas durante su paso por la universidad. Metodologia. Se realizo un estudio cuantitativo con seguimiento prospectivo por la aplicacion del test de agilidad en adaptacion al movil y habilidad en tierra pre-ingreso universitario y pre finalizacion del programa de Cultura Fisica, Deporte y Recreacion para identificar cuales eran los cambios y hallazgos mas relevantes de la condicion fisica de los estudiantes de la Universidad Santo Tomas 2013-1. Resultados. Se encontro en la cohorte 2013- 1 en la prueba de habilidades en tierra una media en el genero masculino de 30.95 segundos con una DS ± de 5.02 con un percentil bueno y en el genero femenino de 38.95 percentil bueno; continuando el seguimiento prospectivo hasta 2016, aproximadamente 4 anos despues de su primera toma se encontro una media de 30.87 seg. con una DS± de 8.49 con un percentil bueno y las mujeres una media de 30.06 seg. con una DS± de 9.64 con un percentil excelente. Conclusiones. Se encontro una mejora de los tiempos de ejecucion, donde se disminuye el tiempo promedio de realizacion de la prueba. EnglishIntroduction. Agility is the ability to change from one movement to another in the shortest time possible, thus to allow the response to a controlled motor and/or physical stimulus. Santo Tomas University evaluates the physical abilities of the aspirants to the program of physical culture, sports and recreation in the motor, physical and physical components to identify and analyze the profile of each of the subjects. Which they had a prospective follow-up from the beginning period and at the end of their academic period to be analyzed and to demonstrate the existing changes of the physical capacities during their passage through the university. Methodology. A quantitative study was carried out with prospective follow-up by the agility test in mobile adaptation and pre-university admission ground skill and pre-completion of the Physical Culture, Sports and Recreation program to identify which were the most relevant changes and findings of the physical condition of the incoming students of 2013-1. Results. There was an average of 30.95 seconds in the male ground test, with a SD of 5.02 with a good percentile and in the female gender of 38.95 seconds; good percentile; continuing the prospective monitoring until 2016, approximately 4 years after its first intake, in the men an average of 30.87 sec was found with a SD ± of 8.49 with a good percentile and women a mean of 30.06 sec. with a DS ± of 9.64 with an excellent percentile. Conclusions. An improvement of the execution times was found, where the average time of the performance of the test is decreased, with greater optimization in the female population.
