Many problems in the Russian military-industrial complex can be successfully solved by creating and implementing modern market mechanisms designed for the commercial implementation of technologies and dual-use products. The article proposes a set of methodological approaches to assess the economic efficiency of the transfer of military products to the civil economic sector, allowing to attract third-party co-executors to Finance the development on a parity basis. For economic evaluation, the authors propose a method of calculating the limit prices for the estimated products, as well as determining the expected positive effect of the use of technologies and dual-use products in the civil sector, which will be useful for defense and civil enterprises producing products for various purposes.
