Characterization of historical cinema from a sample of feature film works made in Colombia and through theoretical approaches to Ricoeur, Rosenstone, the school of the annales and others. In front of the written history, it is contributed that the cinema is not reconstruction of facts but emotional discourse that communicates not only the narrated but the way of conceiving to the world on the part of the producer and the society in which the work arises.
