За даними ВООЗ, забруднення повітря є одним з основних факторів ризику для здоров’я, пов’язаних з навколишнім середовищем: близько 80% захворювань тією чи іншою мірою залежать від його якості [1]. Науково-технічний прогрес формує нове довкілля [2-4]. Внаслідок техногенного навантаження відбуваються глобальні зміни навколишнього середовища, які зумовлюють значне заб руднення, руйнування природи, зниження адаптаційних резервів організму людини до дії різних факторів [5, 6].
