A numerical analysis integrated with the production experiment is required to analyze the effect of depressurization on the production of gas hydrate(GH). In this study, a numerical simulation model considering condition of a core scale experimental system was constructed to understand the depressurization rate effect on the production trend and GH dissociation behavior. The model was validated by comparing with the experimental results and used to analyze depressurization rate. The faster GH dissociation rate as the depressurization rate is increased, which results in the earlier beginning of the production and completion of the dissociation. The pressure propagation was delayed above the specific depressurization rate. The pressure difference between the production point and the experimental system boundary was greater as the depressurization rate and GH saturation is higher. This results can be used as the basic data for establishing the field production test plan using depressurization.
