The application of inhomogeneous niobium point-contacts in thesuperconducting stata for reconstructing the electron-phonon interactionfunction is considered. The method is based on the use of the nonlinearity ofcurrent-voltage curve, which is due to the inelastic processes of suppressingexcess point contact current when nonequilibrium phonons are scattered from theelectrons undergoing Andreev reflection. A new model of background occurrencein point-contact Yanson spectra and some ways to correct this background areproposed.
