Tindak pidana pencurian merupakan tindakan abmoral, perbuatan itu dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan untuk berjudi, membeli minuman beralkohol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penyelesaian perkara dengan pendekatan Restorative justice terhadap tindak pidana pencurian yang dilakukan oleh anak. Motode penelitian menggunakan hukum empiris, subjek penelitian ini adalah yaitu Kasat Reskrim Dompu, kanit PPA dan anggota penyidik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan interaktif model.  Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak pidana yang dilakukan anak diversi dengan pendekatan restorative justice adalah tindak pidana yang ancaman pidana penjara dibawah 7 (tujuh) tahun dan bukan merupakan pengulangan tindak pidana. Penerapan asas restorative justice melalui konsep Diversi terhadap tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anak di Kabupaten dompu telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana anak. Dalam beberapa kasus upaya diversi tersebut dapat memperoleh kesepakatan oleh masing masing pihak sehingga perkara tidak dilanjutkan ke tingkat penuntutan. Penerapan Restorative justice hanya terhadap jenis tindak pidana ringan saja, dengan proses mediasi secara musyawarah. The crime of theft is an immoral act, the act was carried out to meet the need to gamble, buy alcoholic drinks. The purpose of this study was to determine how the settlement of the case with the Restorative Justice approach to the crime of theft committed by children. The research method uses empirical law, the research subjects are Dompu Criminal Investigation Unit, PPA Unit and investigator members. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive models. The results achieved in this study indicate that a crime committed by a child diversified with a restorative justice approach is a crime that is a prison sentence under 7 (seven) years and is not a repeat of the crime. The application of the principle of restorative justice through the concept of Diversity of crimes committed by children in Dompu District has been carried out in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Criminal Justice System for Children. In some cases the diversionary effort can obtain an agreement by each party so that the case does not proceed to the prosecution level. Restorative justice is only applied to minor criminal offenses, with a deliberation mediation process.
