Mat e ri a ls o f the stu d y w ere a s four bul l s of d a ms B a li c a t t le with a ge from 2.5 to 4 y e a rs,12 B a li cows, a nd 55 ca lv e s born f r om 2005 t hrough 2012. The a ni m a ls hous e throughout the y ea r a nd th e y w e re e x ercise a nd g r a z in g , a ppro x i m a te l y 4 hours in the d a yt i me u nt i l a ft e rnoon. I n the h o us e , the a ni m a ls w e re f e d usi n g elephant g ra ss, a ddi t ional f e e d ( ri c e b r ian ) , s a lt, a n d w a ter a dl i bi t u m . The r e sul t s of th i s stu d y show e d t h a t conception r a t e a nd ca lv i ng r a te of B a li cattle r a ised s e m i - in t e nsive w a r e 95 . 62% a nd 86.25% r e sp e c t i v e l y . The a v e rage b irth w e i g ht w a s 13 , 06 k g . I t ca n be c o n c luded that t h e conception r a te a nd birth w e i g ht is a f fec t e d b y them al e s, while the ca lv i ng r a te no sign i fi ca nt e f f e c t of B ul l .
