Thermal noise of optical cavities limits the accuracy of many experiments onprecision laser spectroscopy and interferometry. The study of the physicalproperties of this noise opens opportunities for the creation of more stablecavities, reduction of phase noise of optical radiation, and performance ofaccurate optical studies. The paper proposes a method of partial recording ofTEM00 mode thermal noise of a Fabry-Perot cavity using two "probe" modes ofhigher order. The method allows partial compensation of noise in thefundamental mode. Mathematical modeling is performed, which confirms theefficiency of the method.
