The aim of the research to know the local wisdom and knowledge of the people in Negeri Besar (Nebes) village, who have long used the sago forest since the time of their ancestors Kokoda district. This is a proof that the society is capable of building its civilization and culture. The people of Nebes Village are able to manage the sago forests collectively.
