为了研究中国鸡西煤田杏花煤矿井田构造特征及对开采的影响依据哈达深部杏花立井精查地质报告以及矿井生产地质资料分析了杏花矿区的构造特征及演化过程。结果表明鸡西煤田杏花煤矿主体构造形态可以看作一单斜构造杏花煤矿在早期断裂的基础上受燕山运动以来构造应力场控制主要构造特征表现在四个方面。第一组在侏罗纪基地的基础上受SN 向挤压应力形成的 EW 向边缘断层以及向背斜构造。第二组在早白垩纪早期受 NE 向伸展张扭应力的作用形成一组NW 向的斜交正断层。第三组早白垩纪中期发育 NE 向的斜交正断层。第四组到了早白垩纪晚期受 EW 向伸展拉张应力作用下形成 SN 向的倾斜断层。经过对本区构造的分析本区开采条件有两个构造较简单的地块 1000 米 *1200 米、 1300米 *2000 米适合机械化采煤。其余地段构造均较复杂不适合机械化开采。
