The purpose of this research was to obtain molle essential oil (Schinus molle L.) and evaluate its antifungal activity on Colletotrichum spp. in vitro In order to obtain the AE, the steam drag extraction method was carried out, samples of 100 gr of molle fruit with 7% and 13% moisture were weighed, which were grossly crushed and processed at 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes of extraction time, obtaining essential oil with average yields of 3.68% for fruits with 7% humidity and 2.44% for fruits with 13% humidity. For the inhibitory evaluation of the growth of Colletotrichum spp. concentrations of 250, 500 and 750mg / mL of essential oil of the molle fruit diluted in distilled water with 1% Tween 20 were evaluated. The inhibitory effect of the essential oil of the molle fruit on Colletotrichum spp. at different concentrations, where 250 and 500mg / mL of AE had no significant difference compared to 750mg / mL which showed 37% inhibition.
