脳卒中片麻痺患者の麻痺側及び非麻痺側における脊柱起立筋の表面筋電図を測定し, 周波数解析にて両側間での筋疲労を比較した。片麻痺患者10名, 健常者10名を対象とし, 脊柱起立筋等尺性収縮時における左右両側よりの表面筋電図を測定した。周波数解析を行い, 周波数中央値 (MF : median frequency) を算出し周波数中央値の減少率を求めた。周波数中央値の減少率は, 健常者群 (右側14.0±11.7%/min, 左側14.9±14.5%/min), 片麻痺患者群 (麻痺側14.7±11.8%/min, 非麻痺側15.3±9.7%/min) ともに左右間及び麻痺側, 非麻痺側間に有意な差は認めなかった。脳卒中片麻痺患者における脊柱起立筋の筋疲労は, 麻痺側及び非麻痺側間には必ずしも差があるとはいえないと考えられた。
