The sn-diacylglycerols (DAGs) are important intermediates from a biological point of view. For this reason, the derivatization of DAGs with optically active protective groups represents an important strategy for their characterization. In this work a high-yielding enantiospecific synthesis of stable samples of DAGs as (S)-(1naphthyl)-ethyl urethane derivatives is reported.
