				  Evaluation is made of the state of stress in load-bearing elements in conveyances. Relying on the design loads of load-bearing elements in conveyances given by the proposed method (Wolny &amp; Łowkis, 2012), the state of stress in those components is obtained (in the graphic form) by the FEM approach. The final results will be utilised to develop the guidelines for designing the load-bearing elements in conveyances in the aspect of their mass minimisation.
