When done research on SMK PGRI 8 Medan in data processing student active / not active and data of student majors processed with MS application program Excel which makes it difficult to search data and generate inaccurate information about active and inactive students as well as student / department data. Not only that, duplication of data also often occurs because there is no key to prevent duplicate data. In this study the authors designed an information system that can perform student data processing well. An information system designed using Zachman Framework that can provide complex processes in accordance with clear instructions and steps. The framework areas within Zachman include the planner perspective, the perspective of the owner and the perspective of the mapped designer. In this framework will generate data architecture that is designed in the form of entity relationship diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams and use cases, technology architecture and interface design for the interface of information systems created.
