Indonesia is known as the heart of “The Coral Triangle” which is an area that have a huge biodiversity in marine life. Molluscs, specially gastropods and bivalves have an important role in the marine ecosystem and their presence could indicate a healthy sea ecosystem. Lombok is an island located on Wallacea territory which is a transition zone between Australis zone and Oriental zone, and it is considered havinge a huge biodiversity. This research’s purpose is to observe the species diversity and abundance of gastropods and bivalves in Teluk Mekaki beach intertidal zone which is an isolated beach that doesn’t have many tourism activities yet. Based on the research which using transect method we get the biodiversity index of 2.160.27 consisting of 30 species from 12 family of gastropods and no species of bivalves were found. The most abundance species of gastropods which were found is Miliariconus coronatus with the absolute density of 0.67 individual/50m, relative density of 26.25%, absolute frequency of 0.36, and relative frequency of 24%.
