Este artigo tem como objetivo associar os elementos e fenômenos da incompletude do trabalho institucional, reconhecendo a sua existência. Isto possibilita a identificação de problemas didáticos (PD) que subsidiarão investigações em Didática da Matemática à luz da Teoria Antropológica do Didático. Para enfrentamento destes problemas, trazemos à baila a razão de ser do Percurso de Estudo e Pesquisa, seu contexto e sua construção. Visando facilitar a compreensão do que consideramos incompletude, utilizaremos elementos de análise do objeto matemático funções. Reconhecer as incompletudes do trabalho institucional conduz o olhar sobre aquilo que restringe o trabalho e portanto, a atividade dos sujeitos na mediação de objetos do saber, possibilitando o questionamento dos modelos praxeológicos dominante e de referência.  This article aims to associate the elements and phenomena of the incompleteness of institutional work, recognizing its existence. This allows the identification of didactic problems (PD) that will subsidize investigations in Didactics from the standpoint of Anthropological Theory of the Didactic. To confront these problems, we evoke the reason for being of the Study &amp; Research Programme, its context and its construction. In order to facilitate the understanding of what we consider incompleteness, we will use elements of analysis of the mathematical object functions. Recognizing the incompleteness of institutional work leads the observation on what restricts work and, therefore, the activity of subjects in the mediation of objects of knowledge, making possible the questioning of dominant and reference praxeological models.
