REGULAMENTACAO DA ROTULAGEM DOS ALIMENTOS VEGETARIANOS SOB A PERSPECTIVA DO CODIGO DE DEFESA DO CONSUMIDOR VEGETARIAN FOODS LABELING REGULATION UNDER THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE CONSUMER’S PROTECTION CODE NSTRUMENT OF POSITIVE ALLOCATION OF RISKS IN CONTRACTS Fabricio Germano Alves* Marcelo Henrique Lopes Varella** RESUMO: O presente trabalho trata sobre a rotulagem de alimentos vegetarianos sob a perspectiva do direito a informacao dos consumidores. A informacao e um direito consagrado pelo Codigo de Defesa do Consumidor (Lei Federal 8.078/1990), que neste caso especifico esta relacionado principalmente com a protecao da saude e o direito de escolha, por isso a importância do seu estudo. Em vista da variedade de produtos e rotulos que existe atualmente, surge a duvida sobre como os mesmos devem estar dispostos para respeitar o referido direito a informacao. A metodologia deste trabalho consiste em uma pesquisa hipotetico-dedutiva, realizada com uma abordagem qualitativa e um proposito descritivo, com a finalidade de propor uma avaliacao formativa sobre a tematica em estudo. Para garantir a efetividade do direito a informacao e preciso que os fornecedores utilizem no rotulo dos alimentos vegetarianos uma marca de facil identificacao pelos consumidores. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Consumidor. Informacao. Rotulagem. Alimentos. ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the labeling of vegetarian foods from the perspective of the consumer’s right to information. Information is a right enshrined by the Consumer Protection Code (Federal Law 8.078/1990), which in this particular case is mainly related to the health protection and the right to choose, so the importance of its study. In view of the variety of products and labels that currently exists, the question about how they should be exposed to comply with that right to information arises. The methodology of this work consists of a hypothetical-deductive research, carried out with a qualitative approach and a descriptive purpose, in order to propose a formative evaluation on the subject under study. To ensure the effectiveness of the right to information is necessary that suppliers use on the label of vegetarian food a brand of easy identification by consumers. KEYWORDS: Consumer. Information.
