これに対し,本研究では東京湾奥部の多摩川河口沖周 辺における,水域環境の変動把握を目的としたモニタリ ング調査(羽田周辺水域調査研究委員会,2010)を通じ て,同海域における底質環境の動態について解明を進め てきた.これまでの調査により,対象海域での底泥堆積 に関する基本的な空間分布特性(中川ら,2007)をはじ め,東京湾へのSS負荷が通常時の6.6年分相当と推定さ れる大規模な出水(二瓶ら,2008)と高波浪を伴った台 風イベント時における,底泥移動の実態を観測データに 基づき明らかとした(中川ら,2010).さらに,このよ うな底泥移動に起因する台風前後の底質性状の変化と底 生生物相の変化との関係も明らかとなった(有路ら, 2010,2011). 一方,水質・生態系モデルへの応用も見据えた底泥挙 動の予測を可能とするシミュレーション・モデルの開発 も進めつつある.本論文では,高含水比底泥の特徴を考 慮して導出された泥の輸送量評価式(中川ら,2011; Nakagawaら,2012)を用いて,さらに3次元流動モデル ならびに波浪推算モデルにより得られる外力場の時空間 分布を考慮して,東京湾における台風擾乱時を想定した 湾内の底泥輸送計算を試みた.
