In the north part of the peninsula of Idu, a destructive earthquake occurred in November 26, 1930. Soon after the earthquake, the dis tribution of magnetic dip was observed in the epicentral area. The results were reported already.1) Since then more than three years have elapsed and it is interesting to know the secular change in dip in this interval. The authors pro posed a simple model to represent the anomalous distribution of dip in the region. The model consists of a pair of simple magnets whose moments are 4.47•~1015 e. m. u. placed on the east and west sides of the main fault of the earthquake at a depth of 3.16 km. It was left unknown whether such a comparatively regular disturbance of the magnetic field is permanent one characteristic to the geological and geographical features or it is only temporarily produced in this area owing to the stress in the earth's crust due to the seismic activity. One of the possible means to solve this problem is the investigation of the secular change. The authors made observations in March and April, 1934. The results are given in Table 1.
