Lean construction is a new type of management mode of construction project, which is especially suitable forthose complex, changeable and speedy construction projects. Besides, building information model (BIM) is “computabledigital information” created and utilized during the design and construction of buildings. This paper takes constructionproject as the object and combines BIM technology with the theory of lean construction. Both of them will play a collectiverole in cost control of construction project. A case study is made to illustrate that to the construction projects, the leanconstruction and BIM technology can control their cost effectively.
