Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is one of the leading causes of intensive care unit admission, which results in high hospital mortality. Targeted temperature management (TTM) was introduced several years ago and is considered to improve neurological and mortality outcomes. This management process was implemented in our hospital in 2012, which was expected to improve the standard of care in OHCA patients.
