This study aimed to determine the ability of communication and cooperation tenth grade students of SMAN 30 Jakarta on chemistry learning through cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization). The research was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 with 35 research subjects class X-1 SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta. The method used is descriptive analysis. The data obtained from the assessment instruments described so that communication and cooperation skills of students through cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) can be analyzed. Communication and cooperation capabilities of students are measured using self-report instruments, peer review, and observation. Each instrument consists of seven indicators, each of which consists of several statements which are descriptions of the indicators of communication and cooperation. The results showed cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) improve communication and cooperation skills of students.
