The studied porous materials derived from forest waste wood raw material of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The bark and chips of wood (birch, larch and fir) after pyrolysis and activation showed high sorption properties in the removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions (of 25,06 to 49,8 mg/g). Cr(VI) – a highly toxic element a large number of industrial wastewater and attracts attention of modern researchers. The efficiency of selecting the optimal pH for each of the studied system in a row "a porous material – an aqueous solution of chromium": the increase in the adsorption of at least 1,8 times. These systems have common patterns (bark1-bark2-bark3), as well as a number of features (bark – wood chips of the same source) as in the range of pH, and at the stage of kinetic and isothermal studies. A comparison of the adsorption properties of the investigated porous materials with industrial wood sorbent БАУ-А and a number are described in the literature of porous sorbents from the bark and wood waste. Preparation of materials by pyrolysis and subsequent activation, performed at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology SB RAS, allows you to make, we have studied samples of local raw materials in the number of promising adsorbents to removal chromium from aqueous solutions.
