This paper presents the frescoes in the church Gospa od Lužina, previously hidden under layers of plaster. The only preserved frescoes are in the eastern part of the church, in the apse and on the triumphal arch, depicting fathers of the church, the Agnus Dei (?), and St. Blase and Lazarus, and those on both lateral walls next to the apse, where a few Franciscan and Dominican monks are depicted and the only narrative scene, The Nativity. Both, the iconography and the style of these frescoes indicate the art distanced from medieval artistic forms which confirm relationship to the contemporary artistic movements in Italy. Because of its stylistic features as well as some iconographic indication this painting is dated in the last two decades of the 15th century. Attribution cannot be proposed with any certainty.
