This article discusses the legal sanction of heavy soaping in the form of wire funds on the Islamic criminal law perspective. The criminal sanction of heavy soaping in the form of wire funds, in Islamic law, is cotegorized as a jar mah ta’z r (Islamic criminal sanction) on the basis of the restricted benefit (al-maslahah al-mursalah). It is so because the act is a kind of crime. In addition, either of its form or amount is not obviously ruled in Islamic law. It is also interferring the public interest. The researct is viewed within the Islamic criminal law perspective with its private and general characters. It is based on the reason that a judge, in jar mah ta’zîr, has a wide authority to set punishment in accordance with the demand of the benefit. In relation with jar mah ta’zîr, Islamic criminal law, neither alQur’ân nor al-Hadîth, specifies it in detail. Therefore, the punishment imposed on the perpetrator of a heavy soaping in the form of wire funds is prisoned. In addition, all assets and wealth of the actor should be confiscated due to cover the losses of a state’s assets.
