Four known polyhydroxypregnane glycosides, dregeoside Da1 (1), volubiloside A (2), drevoluoside N (3), and volubiloside C (4) were isolated from the methanol extract of the leaves of Dregea volubilis (L.f.) Benth. ex Hook. f. Their structures were elucidated by 1D-, 2D-NMR, spectra and compared with those reported in the literature. At concentration of 30 μM, compounds 1-4 did not exhibit cytotoxic activity against human colorectal adenocarcinoma cells (HT-29) with cell viability percentages ranging from 100.83 ± 1.50% to 105.45 ± 1.57% versus control. This is a new contribution to phytochemical study of D. volubilis in Viet Nam.
