En el presente trabajo, consideramos un problema mixto para una ecuacion de viga no lineal de tipo Kirchhoff con termino disipativo en un dominio acotado. Probamos la existencia y unicidad de soluciones locales con argumentos del punto fijo de Banach. Tambien obtenemos la propiedad de singularidad en tiempo finito de las soluciones y las estimativaspara el tiempo de explosion.
