The article presents the results of a study of the differences in the level of intelligence in urban districts of the Moscow region and of the factors that determine these differences. The level of intelligence of the districts was assessed based on the data of voluntary Internet testing to assess eligibility for voluntary military service. It is shown that the average IQ of the district negatively correlates (-0.41) with the distance from the main city of the district to Moscow.
