We report the condensations of trifluoronitrosom ethane with sulfanilamide. The new compounds p-trifluorom ethylazophenylsulfonamide CF 3 NNC 6 H 4 SO 2 NH 2 , p-trifluorom ethylazosulfonyltrifluorom ethylazobenzole CF 3 NNC 6 H 4 SO 2 NNCF 3  and p-trifluoromethylazosulfonylacetanilide CH 3 C(O)N(H)C 6 H 4 SO 2 NNCF 3  were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, Raman, mass,  1 H ,  19 F and  13 C NMR spectroscopy. In addition we present our approach to the preparation of p-trifluorom ethylazosulfonylaniline H 2 NC 6 H 4SO 2 NNCF 3  by using protecting groups for the amino group.
