Reaction of the title compound 1 with o-phenylenediamine afforded either the diaze-pinones (2) or the amides (3). Treatment of 1 with thiourea gave the thiouracils (4). The indazoles (5) gave diacetyl or diphenylsulphonyl derivatives (6, 7) on treatment with acetic anhydride or benzenesulphonyl chloride, respectively.
