S-Trifluoromethyl sulfurmonofluoride imides(R = CF 3 CO (1), NC (2), (CF 3 ) 2 CF (3), C 2 F 5  (4)) are prepared by the reaction of CF 3 SF 3  with appropriate nitrogen derivatives; from cyanuric fluoride and CF 3 SF 3  the S(+2) derivative (CF 3 ) 2 N-SCF 3  (5b) is formed.
