In the paper “He's Homotopy Perturbation Method for Calculating Adomian Polynomials” by A. Ghorbani and J. Saberi-Nadjafi, [International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation, 8(2) (2007) 229–232], the authors introduced the homotopy perturbation method to calculate Adomian polynomials, which they claim makes the calculation of Adomian polynomials easy. We discuss here the restrictions on their method for calculating Adomian Polynomials for nonlinear equations. We also prove analytically that the method given by Ghorbani and Saberi-Nadjafi is equivalent to the method used in [Applied Mathematics and Computation, 138(2–3) (2003) 523–529].
