Die Aktivitat der CatechoL-a-methyltransferase (EG 21.1.6) und der Monoaminoxydase (EC 1.4.3.4) verschiedener Rattenorgane wurde durch definierte Angiotensinkonzentrationen, die Gefaskontraktion und Katechoiaminfreisetzung auslosen, nicht beeinflust. Die losliche Catechol-o-methyltransferaseaktivitat in Herz und Milz von DOCA-Hochdruckratten zeigte keinen Unterschied im Vergleich zur Aktivitat von Normaltieren. Es wird daraus geschlossen, das die cnzymatische Inaktivierung von Katecholaminen weder durch Angiotensin noch beim Mineralocorticoidhochdruck verandert ist.
