Objective:  To explore nursing experience of pneumothorax in lung cancer after microwave ablation after microwave ablation.  Methods:  The patient appeared chest congestion, wheezes, low breath sounds in right lung and respiratory degree weakened 1 day after the microwave ablation. Chest radiography suggested right pneumothorax, compression 60%, therefore, pleural puncture gas treatment was given. The patient still complained of chest congestion and difficulty in breathing. Right pleural drainage beside the bed was conducted at 11:30 on November 24, 2014 and intensive care was then given.  Results:  The patient was discharged on December 6, 2014.  Conclusion:  Preoperative examination as the doctor instructed is required, and improve the patientu0027s psychological care of patients, preoperative preparation and operative cooperation. Closely observe the patientu0027s vital signs and postoperative complications, and give proper care. The health consciousness of patients’ self-regulation is an important measure to ensure safety and efficacy of surgery.
