Learning disability is a developmental disorder that manifests itself in the acquisition of academic skills including reading, writing, and mathematics. School counselors play a crucial role in identification and diagnose of students with learning disability. Moreover, school counselor office take necessary steps for prevention and intervention of learning difficulties in school settings.  The goal of the study was to scrutinize school counselors’ thoughts and perceptions about these students’ guidance needs and problems in elementary grade classrooms. The current study participants comprised 12 school counselors in Trabzon and Ankara. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview technique. Descriptive and content analyses were conducted through the NVivo 9.0 program. Findings indicated that participant counselors reported consistent information regarding the psychosocial problems and these students’ guidance needs. In addition, the school counselors concluded that they did not feel confidence in working with these student populations. Ozet Ozgul ogrenme guclugu okuma, yazma ve matematik ile ilgili akademik becerilerin edinilmesinde guclukle kendini belli eden gelisimsel bir bozukluktur. Okul rehber ogretmenleri, ozgul ogrenme guclugu olan ogrencilerin fark edilmesinde ve bu ogrencilere yonelik duzenlenen mudahale calismalarinda onemli bir rol ustlenmektedirler. Bu calismada okul rehber ogretmenlerinin, bu ogrencilerin psikososyal sorunlarina ve rehberlik ihtiyaclarina yonelik goruslerini incelemek amaclanmistir. Calisma, Trabzon ve Ankara’da gorev yapan 12 rehber ogretmen ile gerceklestirilmistir. Veriler yari yapilandirilmis mulakat teknigi ile toplanmis, NVivo 9.0 programiyla betimsel analiz ve icerik analizine tabi tutulmustur. Arastirma sonucunda rehber ogretmenlerin, ozgul ogrenme guclugu olan ogrencilerin yasadigi psikososyal sorunlar ve rehberlik ihtiyaclarina dair goruslerinin alan yazindaki bilgilerle tutarli oldugu degerlendirilmistir. Bununla birlikte rehber ogretmenlerin ozgul ogrenme guclugu olan ogrencilerle calisma konusunda kendilerini yetersiz gordukleri sonucuna ulasilmistir.
