The purpose of this research is to expose psychological counselors’ views on the workshop, who participated in the poetry therapy workshop. 20 psychological counselors attended to the Poetry Therapy Workshop which was taken place in the Creative Applications in the Psychological Counseling Symposium program that was held by Izmir Karabag Counseling and Research Center on 28 May 2015. The workshop lasted approximately three hours. Data of the study were collected by examining the documents which consists of responses to open-ended questions from the participants. Obtained qualitative data were analyzed by using content analysis technique. As a result of the research; it was revealed that the psychological counselors mostly aimed to obtain contributing their professional and personal development from the process. Another source of motivation to participate in the workshop was determined to be curious of what the poetry therapy is. Considering the benefits derived from the workshops, it was determined that the participants obtained professional and personal development. In addition to this, it was concluded with the study that they left the workshop with a sense of satisfaction for the achievement of their expectations. The research findings were discussed adhering to the literature and recommendations are presented for future research and practice. Ozet Bu arastirmanin amaci, siir terapi atolyesine katilan psikolojik danismanlarin siir terapi atolye calismasina yonelik goruslerini aciga cikarmaktir. 28 Mayis 2015 tarihinde Izmir Karabaglar Rehberlik Arastirma Merkezi’nin duzenlemis oldugu Psikolojik Danismada Yaratici Uygulamalar Sempozyumu programinda yer verilen Şiir Terapi Atolyesi’ne 20 psikolojik danisman katilmistir. Atolye calismasi yaklasik olarak uc saat surmustur. Arastirmanin verileri, katilimcilarin acik uclu sorulara verdikleri yanitlardan olusan dokumanlarin incelenmesiyle toplanmistir. Elde edilen niteliksel veriler, icerik analizi teknigi kullanilarak cozumlenmistir. Arastirmanin sonucunda, psikolojik danismanlarin surecten en cok mesleki ve kisisel gelisimlerine katkida bulunacak kazanimlar elde etmeyi amacladiklari aciga cikmistir. Atolye calismasina katilma konusundaki bir diger motivasyon kaynaginin siir terapinin ne olduguna yonelik merak duygusu oldugu saptanmistir. Atolye calismasindan elde edilen kazanimlara bakildiginda ise katilimcilarin mesleki ve kisisel acidan kazanim elde etmis olduklari gorulmustur. Ayrica, beklentilerini karsilamasi nedeniyle calismadan memnuniyet duygusu hissederek ayrildiklari sonucuna da ulasilmistir. Arastirma bulgulari, literature bagli kalinarak tartisilmis ve gelecekte yapilacak arastirmalara ve uygulamaya yonelik oneriler sunulmustur.
