The most colourful moments of the political elections are the campaign terms. During campaign periods political parties have many opportunities to present themselves and influence undecided voters and also have intensive efforts to satisfy their own voters. This study is about the ideological themes of the general elections in Turkey on 22 July 2007 which is a very important turning point in the Turkish politics. According to this, to the election posters and ads of three major parties that exceed the threshold has been made content analysis and the rally speeches of the chairman were subjected to discourse analysis. The major problem context of this study is the evaluations suggesting that political map of Turkey has been static rather than movable with the mentioned election which was processed in a deep political crisis atmosphere and that election is one of the breaking points of Turkish political life. The main questions, to which has been tried to find answer for in this study is during the critical election challenge which main issues the leaders were focused on and what the dominant ideological themes were on the electoral rallying. As a main result it can be said that all parties that exceed the threshold and enter the parliament used nationalist rhetoric and rituals. Ozet Siyasal secim sureclerinin en renkli anlari kampanya donemleridir. Siyasal partiler secmenlerle yakin temas kurduklari, kendilerini takdim icin bircok imkân elde ettikleri kampanya donemlerinde kararsizlari etkilemek ve kendi secmenlerini de tatmin etmek icin yogun bir caba sarf ederler. Bu calisma Turk siyasi hayatindaki onemli donemeclerden biri olarak kabul edilen 22 Temmuz 2007 “Genel Seciminin” kampanya donemindeki ideolojik temalara yoneliktir. Bu dogrultuda ulke secim barajini asan uc buyuk partinin secim afis ve ilanlari icerik analizine, genel baskanlarin miting konusmalari da soylem analizine tabi tutulmustur. Calismanin baslica problematigi, derin bir siyasal kriz ikliminde yasanan bu secimle birlikte Turkiye’deki siyasi haritanin da oynakliktan statik bir hale gectigi ve dolayisiyla bu secimin Turk siyasi hayatindaki kirilma noktalarindan biri oldugu dogrultusundaki degerlendirmelerdir. Cevabi aranan baslica sorular ise bu kritik secimde liderlerin secim meydanlarinda uzerinde durduklari baslica konular ve secim meydanlarina hâkim olan ideolojik temalarin neler oldugudur. Ulasilan baslica sonuc olarak ise; TBMM’ye giren uc partinin de secim kampanyalarinda milliyetci soylem ve rituellerin agirlikta oldugu hususundan bahsetmek mumkundur.
