In Swedish volunteers, consuming spaghetti along with milk raises the insulinemic effect of the meal. In Finnish citizens followed for 19 to 24 years for cancer incidence, different consumption patterns of dairy items had different relationships with colon and rectal carcinogenesis. More definitive and conclusive research into how dairy products might influence chronic disease would seem to be warranted.
