Ecotourism practice has increased in Brazilian preservation unities, as is the case of the Stadual Park of Pedra Branca (PEPB), located at Rio de Janeiro city, however used practices most of the time occurs in disordered way, and in some cases in vulnerable areas to the occurrence of erosive processes and mass movements, imposing limitations to activities and exposing visitors to risk situations. In this context, the objective of this work is to distinguish areas of ecotouristic fragility in the PEPB, defined in function of vulnerability situations to mentioned processes, subsidizing the public use inside the protected area. Methodologically, main attractions of the Park were identified and mapped, likewise the vulnerability situations to occurrence of erosion processes in proximity strips, using software ARCGIS version 9.0 and the GeoEnvironmental Analysis System SAGA/UFRJ. Superposition of thematic maps allowed the establishment of ecotourism with fragility different zone levels. The different fragility areas were qualified and quantified and were used as a basis to proposition of monitoring actions concerning public use and control of slope processes.
