Two improved kMC models for investigations of the magnetic properties offinite-size atomic chains are presented. These models take the possiblenoncollinearity of magnetic moments into account. The spontaneousremagnetization of ferromagnetic Co chains on Pt(997) surface andantiferromagnetic Fe chains on $\text{Cu}_2\text{N/Cu(001)}$ surface isinvestigated in the framework of our models. The results are compared with theresults of the simple kMC model. It is also shown that a single domain-wallapproximation can be successfully used to estimation of the reversal time ofthe magnetization. Therefore, the improved kMC models can be used foranalytical calculations as well as for computer simulations.
