The complete mol­ecule of the title compound, C 22 H 24 N 2 O 6 , is generated by crystallographic inversion symmetry and is approximately planar (r.m.s. deviation of the non-H atoms = 0.134 Å). The packing consists of inter-digitated sheets inclined at 25.9 (4)° to one another and linked by short C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
