The following are corrections to a paper by Bloomer & Arndt [(1999), Acta Cryst. D55, 16721680] . The entry in the second row of the I MAR column of Table 1( b ) on page 1674 should read 6.6 and not 16.6. In Table 4 on page 1677 the source diameter should be given as 15 µm and not 15 mm, and the units for the diameter of the sample should be given as µm instead of mm.
