In the title compound, C 6 H 6 N 4 O 4 , the bond distances indicate significant bond fixation, consistent with charge‐separated polar forms. The molecules are almost planar and there is an intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond. The molecules are linked into a complex three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of N—H⋯O, N—H⋯(O) 2 , N—H⋯π(arene) and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
