The structure of the particle-hole nucleus 132Sb provides a direct source ofinformation on the effective neutron-proton interaction in the 132Sn region. Wehave performed a shell-model calculation for this nucleus using a realisticeffective interaction derived from the Bonn A nucleon-nucleon potential. Theresults are in very good agreement with the experimental data evidencing thereliability of our effective interaction matrix elements both with isospin T=1and T=0.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure, submitted to Physical Review Letter
