Twenty seven treatments were applied to evaluate Cooley spruce gall adelgid on heavily infested 6-8 ft Douglas-fir Christmas trees. Each treatment was applied on 17 Apr to 4 tree replicates. Foliar treatments were completed by using a Solo Master 412 mistblower. Treatments were applied at the rate of 100 gal/acre (302 ml/tree). At treatment time the following conditions existed: air temperature, 78-82°F; 25% RH, and skies were clear and sunny. Sixteen DAT (3 May) counts were completed on each tree. Each replicate was evaluated by completing 4 15-s counts and recording the total number of flocked females.
