Large Momentum Transfer (LMT) beam splitters are implemented in atominterferometers to increase their sensitivity. However, LMT-interferometerrequires additional light-pulses that modify the response function of the atominterferometer. In this paper, we develop an analytical model for thesensitivity function of the LMT-interferometers using sequential acceleratinglight pulses. We use the sensitivity function to calculate the accelerationsensitivity taking into account the pulse duration. In addition, thesensitivity to laser phase uctuations is calculated, and we show that the pulsesequence can be engineered to mitigate the phase noise sensitivity.
