In this paper, the effects of composition on the mutual exchange of core-shell structure in immiscible Al-Bi-Sn alloys have been studied. The morphology can be classified into three types, Al 85 Bi 6 Sn 9  and Al 75 Bi 9 Sn 16  formed a perfect core-type structure, in which the shell is an Al-rich phase and the core is a Sn/Bi-rich phase; Al 60 Bi 14.4 Sn 25.6  formed an irregular multilayer core-type structure; and Al 45 Bi 19.8 Sn 35.2  formed a core-type structure, in which the shell is a Sn/Bi-rich phase and the core is an Al-rich phase; the mutual change of core and shell in Al-Bi-Sn occurs when the composition changes, and the variation in composition leads to changes in the volume fraction of each phase, and one phase with a minor volume fraction will form a core. This study provides some methods for the preparation of core-type structure productions.
